This is a very interesting statement. I am an Eagle Scout. What the scouts and especially the eagle teaches is specifically tolerance, courtesy and service. I am always amazed by the people who yell other people are bigots and intolerant, when they are the one lumping people into groups. Hello Pot. You will never convince the self righteous they are part of the problem. By the way I am not a real good one for hiding from my posts, I am not a keyboard hero. If you don't like what I say, come and see me we can work it out. I enjoy pleasant and well reasoned conversation, in all it manifest forms.

Some of you talk about how the boy scout teach kids to big bigots and intolerance. I grew up with my dad being a leader and my brother went up to eagle scout and I didn't see any type of bigots or intolerance of any one. there was such a varitey of people in his pack and no one was treated any better or lesser than the other. they worked as a unit and helped one another, not because they were told but because they were friends. if you ask me it sounds like you are the ones who are being bigots and intolerance. I have meet some people in this sca group here that have treated me and my family like outcasts. just because you had bad luck with one group or one person dosen't mean everyone is like that. this type of thinking is how wars are started, if we treat people like we want to be trated then the world would be in better shape. just because you don't agree with one person should you outcast the whole group.
