[MR] *Unofficial* Pennsic Pity Party

Greetings All!

Pennsic is very soon upon us!
Which for those left behind means one thing.....It's almost time for the
*Unofficial* Pennsic Pity Party!!!
The Pennsic Pity Party (P3 as I like to call it) is being held on Aug 6-8 at
the  Elchenburg Castle in beautiful Boonville, NC.

Here are the details....

*Date/Place* - August 6-8, at the Elchenburg Castle (2239 Center Road,
Boonville, NC). I'll be on site by 4pm on Friday, and if people help clean
up I'll leave site by 3pm on Sunday.

*Event/Site Rules* - Don't burn the place down, Don't give booze to kids, if
your dog poops anywhere but the woods clean it up, Be nice to each other,
Don't get hurt, Drink lots of water, oh and HAVE FUN!!!!

*Cost* - $6 per person (so we can pay Walter)

*Reservations - *Send me a quick email ( dragonfly78 at gmail.com ) to let me
know you're coming so we know how many to plan for. Or if you are on

*Garb* - Yes! This is a garbed party, cuz everything is more fun in garb!

*Fighting* - pickup fighting for as long as people wanna fight.

*A&S* - The pavilion has shade, and tables. Bring a project and a chair.
If you has big projects that take up a lot of space, or dirty ones that you
can't work on at most events... bring them out!
Classes - so far we have Finger-loop Braiding, a Bardic class, Wire Weaving,
and possibly a fire pit cooking class! More as more people respond. (if you
wanna teach something, just let me know! )

*Get Wet* - Being August and hot we will have to have some wet games to cool
off... A wet sponge toss, squirt gun tag (bring your own), and water balloon
wars!

*Entertainment* - Dancers, bards, drummers, ALL are welcome!!!! There will
also be a pick, pass or play bardic on Saturday night. So brig your best
song, story, poem, joke, or riddle and join in the fun!

*Food* - Potluck! Bring a dish to share with the group! There is a fridge in
the farm house that will hold *some* cold stuff. As well as a huge freezer.
If you need to warm your dish before dinner there is also a microwave. I'll
be bringing out a charcoal grill and a bunch of hot dogs. All are welcome to
use the grill for their own meat.
