And so it happened on the tenth day of July, after the night's storm clouds
cleared, that a beautiful summer day greeted Konungr Jason and Drottning Gerhild
as they surveyed their armored and rapier armies.  After a vigorous day of
exercising the strength of Atlantia in preparation for the forthcoming Pennsic
War His Majesty Jason was inclined to give tokens to Mistress Cunen Beornhelm
and Lady Elizabeth of Rosewood in the form of pennons for their lances in
recognition of their valor on the field that day.

As the evening sun began to sink toward the mountains Their Majesties assembled
the populace and made the following recognitions:

After greeting those who have recently joined our Society and Kingdom Their
Majesties received the fealty of Sir Otto von Schwartzkatz as the new Kingdom
Earl Marshal.  After the change in the Kingdom's officer was made Their
Excellencies of Black Diamond requested and were granted permission to hold a
court.

Once Their Excellencies completed their business Their Majesties resumed their
court by calling forward Lord Michael Wymarc and inducting him into the Order of
the Sea Dragon.  Philip Ingram was then called forward and received his Award of
Arms followed by Lord John Angus West being made a member of the Order of the
Silver Osprey.

Lord Gerhard der Rote von Ulm was then called forward to be inducted into the
Order of the Silver Osprey and Jozef Paulus was the next to be recognized and
receive his Award of Arms.  Ardgal O Faolain was then brought before Their
Majesties to receive his Award of Arms.

Lord Zao en Dian was inducted into the Order of the Opal for his work on behalf
of the Barony and Lady Anne Balfour of Markinch was given an Award of Supporters
for her long time support of the Barony of Black Diamond.  Lady Emma West then
had His Majesty Jason draw the raffle tickets for the Kingdom Travel Funraiser
prizes and three very happy people went home with new feast baskets.

After bringing forward Lord Estienne de Conde and thanking him for stewarding
such a successful event Their Majesties closed their court and prepared to
conduct the Royal Curia immediately following.

So did thing happen by my witness that day,
