[MR] Event fees for WOW

When my wife gives me permission I'll clamber into a set of loaner Armour and meet all comers in the list.  Well, maybe not all comers, but certainly two or three.  Stop and think of it, though, to what extent were the people of the medieval period capitalist, socialist or whateverist?  I've seen a lot of things on food, beverage,dance, eta.  But not much at all on about their view on wealth and profits.  Does anyone have any info on that?
