Greetings,

I have this mysterious part to the home-made (and gotten off the side of the road since it was out for trash [THANK YOU GERITA!]) loom I am putting together (without  directions! [THANK YOU ALESSANDRA AND BOB!).  Basically, I realize this is the fulcrum that must crank the loom to move the cloth forward onto the breast beam, but can't figure out how it must go in/on the beam to make it crank!  It's a long stick with a webbing coming out of one side near the end.  The side is curved.  Picture a football, cut from tip to tip and then cut around the middle.  the webbing (currently) comes out the curvy side.  It's attached to the fulcrum and I suspect the webbing may have to go from the fulcrum, around the beam, back through the fulcrum and somehow be held or tied while cranking.  The breast beam is an x shape in cross section.  If you are a weaver or an engineer and think you know how the heck this is supposed to attach, please email me!  Or if
you want a picture to think about it more, please email me.  Please email me directly as I get everything in digest.  Thanks!
