Although it could be argued that the conferral of said scrolls is an
important part of the flavor of kingdom events...
In the past, concerns had been raised about the roses the queen provides to
the consorts of those fighting in Crown, and the SCA exchequer said they
were no problem, since they were part of the flavor and pageantry of Crown.
