Greetings all,

On February 13th the Barony of Bright Hills will celebrate it's
Baronial Birthday with travels to a Middle Eastern Bazaar. Among the
entertainments and activities of the day we offer the following;

A class in Finger Loop Braiding will be offered by Mistress Branwen
Wallis, O.L. For those who took Lady Reyne's class on Jan. 29th this is a
fine opportunity to broaden your skills. We hope many folks will take
advantage of this class and create cords for Their Royal Majesties to give
with the various award medallions they will present during their Courts.
Mistress Branwen will be supplying materials. You need bring only a
pair of scissors. However, if you wish you may bring materials
for additional work after the class. Materials should be 2 skeins of
embroidery floss of each color or one ball of number 5 pearl cotton in each
color.

There will be an assortment of A & S competitions and an open display.

Test your culinary skills with "Flavors from Afar", a competition for dishes
using spices found in a Middle Eastern Bazaar. Due to kitchen space
limitations your dish will need to be prepared ahead of time.

"Best Use of Bright Hills Populace Badge'' should tempt some creativity.

For the Romantically inclined we offer "Best Middle Eastern Love Poem" in
the style of the Song of Solomon.

We will also be choosing our Baronial Brewer and our Baronial A & S
Champions at this event..

Come and watch the Dreaded "Turkey Leg Tavern Brawl" - a new and most
entertaining form of indoor heavy weapons combat.

Target archery will take place - weather permitting.
