You will need an old t-shirt that you don't care to have as a t-shirt anymore that has sleeves and goes down to your hip joint. You will also need a large roll of paper tape, the old postal kind that has a dry water activated adhesive. I have found this at art supply stores in the past. This tape works like paper mache as we wet it and form the layers for the dress form. This method is ideal because it forms a hardened copy of your shape complete with any variations in symmetry, etc. You can also pin directly into the paper tape form and some commenters recommend spraying the whole thing with lacquer inside and out for it to last longer.
