Does anyone know of a preferred translation of El Cid?  All I can find is the 
esley Simpson one which I do not know and the Penguin Classic with Spanish and 
nglish, but the English is very uninspired in that one, and I thought the 
riginal was in Catalan? so wonder about the Spanish, too.
