"NESAT X" (Northern European Symposium for Archaeological Textiles), edited
by Eva Andersson Strand et al., (Oxford: Oxbow Books, 2010) has 49
wonderful articles, 10 of which deal with tablet weaving in some manner.

Karina Gromer, pp. 9-20; a paragraph's mention of this very early evidence
for TW in Europe
17. "Norwegian Peat Bog Textiles: Tegle and Helgeland Revisited" by
Sunniva Wilberg Halvorsen, pp. 96-103; a reexamination of the Helgeland band,
probably the best preserved TW from the early Iron Age in Norway
20. "A Study of Two Medieval Silk Girdles: Eric of Pomerania's Belt and
the Dune Belt" by Viktoria Holmqvist, pp. 117-125; two TW belts that the
author concludes were woven using octagonal tablets with four holes threaded
23. "Tiny Weaving Tablets, Rectangular Weaving Tablets" by Lise Raeder
Knudsen, pp. 150-156; the author concludes that the small 3.4 cm x 3.4 cm
tablets were used to TW the starting and side borders on WW looms while the
rectangular tablets may have made it easier to check for turning mistakes
