Let us go to the pleasure gardens; come my sauntering cypress.
Just you and I, and a singer with exquisite airs -- and yet
Another: with your kind permission, Nedim, the mad poet.
Let us go to the pleasure gardens; come my sauntering cypress...
- Nedim (Song)

Let me tell you of the glorious food that awaits you at Bright Hills' Birthday at the Bazaar!
LUNCH will be a fund-raiser for the Bright Hills archers. For a modest sum, they plan to offer a choice of:
Scottish Broth, Stew, or Vegeterian White Bean Soup
Bread and Honey Butter or Breadsticks
And for a few coins more, you will be able to chose from an array of sweet treats for dessert.
FEAST: The famed Bright Hills Cooks Guild offers a Crusader’s Feast, with the first course that includes stewed chicken with cheese and pork belly (bacon) stuffing and Aruz bin labin (sweet rice); the second course offering roast beef, with sauces of mustard, juniper berry, and a green sauce; the third course including pork roast with cauliflower and eggplant; to be followed by a dessert course.
RESERVE NOW FOR THE FEAST – ONLY 10 SPACES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT THE DOOR.
Bring your special someone and all your friends and family, and we will celebrate romance in true SCA style, complete with singing, dancing, food, and if Allah grants us good weather, a little archery, maybe even a little fighting!!
