[MR] Chalice of the Sun God VII - Update for artisans and performers!

Greetings!

As you may already have noticed, the much beloved Ponte Alto event, Chalice of the Sun God, will be back this year.  It is the seventh year our Barony throws this event, and this year's theme will be Perseus and the Medusa.  So for A&S and performance purposes, gorgons, mythological monsters, serpents, hair accoutrements and makeup, beauty, ugliness, mirrors and reflective surfaces, stone (lapidary and jewelry included), sculpture of any kind, shields, blades, and just about anything that you can think relates to the myth goes.  Get creative!  We are trying to make it as wide as possible so as many folks can enter interesting pieces!

The event will take place October 22-24, 2010, at Camps 1 and 4 in Prince Williams Forest Park, in Triangle, VA.  That's the traditional site.

Why announce the theme so much time in advance may you ask?  Because we know that artisans and performers need time to prepare, and the more time they get, the better. :-)
