Good Gentles,
Many thanks to the archers of Atlantia who chanced the possibility of rain to bend bow and loose/lose arrows with us at Southern Atlantian Archery Day! The rain held off until after court. Many thanks to the non-archers who came to cheer and support their friends and family.
Many many thanks to those who helped Tim and I put the event together and carry it off with very few bumps. We especially want to thank the members of the Canton of Crois Brigte who helped organize, prepare, clean, set up, make targets, test targets, paint, haul, cook, organize, clean up more, teach, support, etc. Davina and Jean Bart, Wolfgang (your woods-walk rocked), Robyn and Aine, Sine and Oshi, Christophe and Eleanor, Tara, Ceridwen and Lynden, Geoffri, Tom and Audry, Gise and Helen-Rose....and I'm sure I missed someone.....
AND, the Canton of Middle Gate for providing the Wayfarers meal on Friday (and leftover on Saturday) and setting up the feast pavilion in such a beatuiful way: Nuala, Mureane, Troy, William & Angela...who'd I miss?
Thanks also to Achbar for his role as CA marshal and to Amye and Roric for MOL duties, and Bassi and Svana for bringing their siege engine.
Thanks also to Katarzyna and Edward for doing bow inspections. (Edward sorry for making you miss the clout because you were doing inspections.)
Thanks also to those of you who brought extra equipment to loan out to new archers.
Next year? I think the theme will include fire!

There, with that jingle in his head, and a bracer on his left hand, a shooting glove on his right, and a farthing's-worth of wax in his girdle, what more doth a bowman need?"
