[MR] Question about Sterling Silver Mug

im afraid to say, my husband uses his as a canned drink holder to hide his diet pepsi can.... but it works and from a 10 feet away...the mudanety is hidden and the dented mug looks like it has been through ahtrough battles with him...(hey, sowrd hitting things, baseball bats , it could happen!)
just kidding but it has kept me from having to arm wrestle him for is pepsi can every event...

Subject: [MR] Question about Sterling Silver Mug

Hello everyone!

I have a question for anyone who knows anything about mugs. A friend of mine
recently found a sterling silver plated mug with a glass bottom. He dropped
it on a carpet floor, which dented the mug and caused the glass to crack.
It's now begun to flake off and is entirely unusable. Does anyone know the
best way to repair it? If possible, he'd like to replace the bottom with
plastic. If anyone can help, that would be great.
