[MR] Coronation Courts of Jason & Gerhild - April 10, AS 44 (2010)

On a beautiful spring morning Jason Kinslae stepped forward to claim the throne of Atlantia that he won by right of arms five months ago.  Moments later his inspiration and consort arrived and by his hand did King Jason make Gerhild the Willful the Queen of our fair kingdom.

The succession secured King Jason and Queen Gerhild did recognize their predecessors and bestow upon them well earned honors and a beautiful triptych to commemorate their achievement on the throne.

Their Majesties' next order of business was to receive the fealty of the Officers and Baronage of the kingdom as well as that of those members of the peerage who wished to do so at that time.

Finally they set Sir Kieran Hunter to sit in contemplation of his being made a member of the Order of the Chivalry and receive the good wisdom of those who wished to visit with him.

After a day of tournaments and festivities Their Majesties Jason and Gerhild did gather the populace and with their Baronage at their side did hold a full Thing (Norse Court) where the following recognitions were made:

The newcomers to the Kingdom of Atlantia were asked to come forward and receive tokens from Their Majesties.  Next the children of Atlantia were called forward and given gifts from Their Majesties' largess.

Then did King Jason and Queen Gerhild call forward individual members of the populace.

Lord Felix del Rey was made the King's Champion

Aryanna ingen Lonain was inducted into the Order of Ariel

Lord Jehan-Franc deBlauvac was called forward to announce the competition winners and Lady Derbaul ingen Lonain was brought forward to announce the winner of the Tempore Atlantia.

Lord Lucas von Aych received the Award of the Shark's Tooth

Filippo Clemente Degli Esponsi received his Award of Arms

Lord Eckehard Thurn was inducted into the Order of the Silver Osprey

Lady Sabelle du Corbin was inducted into the Order of the Opal

Aesa Gunnarsdottir received her Award of Arms

Hamon MacPhersone was inducted into the Order of the King's Missiliers and received his Award of Arms

Angus Arran received his Award of Arms

Lord Orm Gunnarson was inducted into the Order of the Silver Osprey

Godfrey de York received his Award of Arms

Lord Stanwulf the Stern was inducted into the Order of the Opal

Grimkell Tannason received his Award of Arms

Lord Alain de la Rochelle was inducted into the Order of the Opal

Then Queen Gerhild and King Jason did give their thanks to those who attended that day and closed Their court.

Between the courses of the magnificent feast prepared by Master Robear deBardoulf and his team of Atlantian Culinary Giants Their Majesties conducted a court where the following recognitions were given:

Mistress Sunniva Kyrre was inducted into the Order of the Coral Branch

Lady Katharine de la Vache was brought out of the kitchen where she had been working all day and inducted into the Order of the Golden Dolphin

That done Their Majesties closed their court and enjoyed the rest of the feast.

After feast was completed there was one final small court conducted where King Jason and Queen Gerhild did continue the Absolute Banishment of Loric of Ironwood.

So were things done by my witness on the tenth day of April in the year of our society XLIV.
