His Grace is correct about poly's and fgood safety.
That said, if you are especially concerned, you should look for a poly that
complies with FDA requirement 21 CFR175.300. Usually they are marketed as
'Salad Bowl Finish' It will cost you more for the 'tested & approved by a
government agenecy' seal which arguably only adds marketing value.
