Greetings to Atlantia from the Scribal Education Coordinator.
As the New Scribe and Scribal Education Coordinator for the Clerk
Signet's office I have been assisting scribes in this Kingdom learn more
and make a few connections within this community. However, I need help.
This thread has been started on the scribal board under Scribal
Education which can be found at:

This Saturday I will be at University and will be available to talk to
anyone during lunch who is interested in learning about becoming a
scribe. You can ask me all those questions you are afraid to ask, and I
promise not to be scary at all! Plus, if you email me before noon on
Friday I will have a new scribe's kit available for you to pick up
there.
Not going to University, please feel free to contact me and I will help
you get connected with scribes in your area. I can even mail you a
scribal kit! You can email me at
scribe_education_at_scribe.atlantia.sca.org
Already a scribe? Never fear...I need your help too! If you are
willing to mentor a new scribe, have a scriptorium already in place, or
have an opinion on anything you think I should look into that would
promote scribal education let me know. Many of you have already
contacted me, and I have you in my system, but if you are not sure
please feel free to send me information again. Please make sure you
send me your SCA and modern name and complete contact information
(incase I need to send you things).
This November will be my third anniversary as a scribe. I began knowing
absolutely NOTHING about the scribal arts and just jumped in with both
feet. A lot of it was because I had an enthusiastic group that was
willing to teach and help me get over my fears. If I, the person who
had problems with stick figures, can now do scrolls easily anyone can!
Yours,
Baroness Rhonwen verch Tuder
Scribal Cheerleader
