I always end up demoting people whenever I use titles so I skip them entirely.  Mind you I generally don't teach newcomers that but I tend to avoid newcomers for that reason.  

We were joking once that if using the wrong title truly demoted people then I've beheaded more Crowns than I can count and most not intentionally!!

What's really depressing is when you demote somebody by mistake in black and white on scroll because you've called them Lord somebody for 10 years before they became Crown and you can't change habits at 3 am!  *sigh*  <grin>
