I just finished speaking with one of the ladies in charge of the
event. We will have space to set up a dayshade - currently we are
planning on setting up my 10 x 10 EZ Up. I asked for a 20 x 20 space
in case more folks show up.

The event is primarily geared toward the "big" catapults, though there
will be some smaller catapults around as well. They're asking that
anyone with a siege engine to arrive before 9am so they can get
everyone set up and lined up in time.

The event is free for spectators, if you want to go through the corn
maze it's $4 a person. There will also be a car show and a motorcycle
show happening on the grounds as well.

I suspect they'll let the "little" siege engines play after the big
ones get done. There are to be no martial activities other than
playing with the siege weapons at this demo. Display of armor is
acceptable. As this is a church function, the site is completely dry.

Come in garb, plan to leave before 6pm, which is when the corn maze
closes. Any demonstrations we do would not be a focal point, they'll
be just for anyone who asks or comes by. The church is concerned that
we are expecting to be the center of things, which is definitely not
the case. We were invited to do a demo, and as such, we'll demonstrate
for those who come by. :)

Any questions, please see me off list. Also, please let me know if you
MIGHT be coming so I can have an idea of head count.

At this time I have approximately 6 people coming, with one small
siege engine. If there are folks with knowledge of siege weaponry who
would want to come and talk about period onagers and trebuchets and
such, you'd be more than welcome!
