Greetings and salutations! It turns out that the weekend of War of the
Wings, there will be a siege of pumpkins in the Barony of Highland
Foorde. This is not an SCA event, however, we have been invited to
attend and participate. I am organizing an SCA demo at the event. I
strongly encourage everyone to attend War of the Wings - that's a
really fantastic event! But for those who are stuck up here in
northern Atlantia with me, you're invited to come play!

The website for the event is http://www.pumpkinsiege.com/ . I have
included the rules for the Siege below, as they are printed on their
website. For those who don't want or aren't able to participate in the
siege aspect of the event, you are invited to create targets out of
cardboard. They have a competition for the Crowd Favorite target with
an entry fee of $5.00.

Admission is $4 per person, and there is also a corn maze on site.

More details will be forthcoming as I receive them.

"To this end should a truly chivalrous man know something of arts and
courtesies as befits the quality of his character, else the world
shall think him nothing but a knuckle-dragging troglodyte in
vambraces." -Lady Swannoc
"This statement presupposes that a chivalrous man is a man with
martial training. Then should a courtier skilled in the arts and
sciences know something of the martial arts else the world could think
him nothing but a poncy perfumed fop in lace." - Gaston de M. GD, AT,
