Two of my favorite sites for inspiration are:
The British Library Catalogue of Illuminated Manuscripts
http://www.bl.uk/catalogues/illuminatedmanuscripts/welcome.htm
and the New York Public Library:
http://digitalgallery.nypl.org/nypldigital/explore/dgexplore.cfm?topic=printing&col_id=173
I want to second the request for scroll blanks. It is a huge help to
have already illuminated scrolls that just need calligraphy. We can
also use scrolls that just need the illumination. It is a Huge help to
have the scroll blanks so that we don't add so much to the backlog each
reign. I would be happy to collect any scroll blanks offered at War of
the Wings (or anywhere). I believe that Mistress Sunniva (the Clerk
Signet) will also be at War of the Wings. I will be camped with the
Barony of Hidden Mountain.
