I remember reauthorizing with greatsword about 14 years ago. I was facing
another knight who I sadly did not know at the time. He took my left arm and
stepped back.I dropped that arm and performed a moullinette (sp?) one-handed
with my bastard sword while stepping forward. My blow shattered the buckle
holding his leg armor at the hip and dropping it to his ankle. He responded
by saying, "I'll take that!", but the ewwwwws and ahhhhs from the crowd were
very rewarding.

If he had given up his arm I would not have had such a chance for renown. It
would certainly have dulled the experience.
