Greetings to all who do read this missive! Twelve days! Like the song of Winter Celebration there are 12 Days till War of the Wings' gate opens!

On Friday evening, from 7ish till 10ish everyone and all are invited to the castle to eat with friend and foe alike. Be ye garbed or only just pulled onto site in jeans and flip flops. It matters not at all.

The drive has been long, the pavilion took all day to set up, whatever your circumstance is, please come to the castle for some light fare and something to drink.? We're working on having hot drinks as well as cold.

The event is putting out some of the spread, the Cantons of Sacred Stone will be donating some as well. Please, if you feel so moved, bring something to share ... a bag of chips, a bottle of Cheerwine, some home made cookies. If your branch or household would like to coordinate some combined offering, great! If you are able to, please coordinate your efforts with Caitlin MacDonoughue who is organizing the Social at caitlinofbaelfiredun at yahoo.com ... or just show up with fudge. It's all good.? =o)

But also know that you need bring nothing at all. Your company and comfort are what we desire most.

***!!!*** Remember the deadline for Pre-registration is Oct 1 ... THIS THURSDAY. If you are not pre-registered you will not be allotted land for an encampment. There has been some confusion on this matter.?
