no no no, just a personal policy of mine in that when i did have loaner
armour, back in the day, my rule was that it could be used at practice but
never worn for an authorization.  and, that was just for guys i was working
with.

I'm guessing that this is a personal policy of yours, along the lines
of  "I won't participate as a Marshall with an authorizee in loaner
armor",  or perhaps "None of my squires / men-at-arms / students are
gonna authorize in loaner gear"?  Or is there a spot in the Kingdom
Rules of Combat that I'm missing?  The Atlantian Marshall's Handbook,
as far as I can find, just says that the armor has to be legal. If I'm
missing something here, please feel free to administer a clue-batting.
