[MR] The Cost to armor a New fighter?

I can't even begin to think how much money I've put into beads and  
silk for making my rosaries. We won't even mention some garb- like one  
red 14th c. gown that was made out of red silk dupioni that ran about  
$15 a yard on sale.

My Viking sewing machine cost 3K.

:)

So yes, the SCA is an expensive hobby for everyone!
