[MR] The Cost to armor a New fighter?

its not an unusual wait time really as their products come from india and
have to be ordered in large quantities.  the company they order from has a
website which is down at the moment but i think last time i checked they run
$3 each in lots of 100.  shipping takes about a month from the boat.  not
sure where folks are getting these prices for demi gauntlets either as they
can easily be made from scraps from any leather store for $10.  a padded
glove (mylec) with a simple leather cuff to cover the glove so that i meets
the appearance requirements.

Unfortunatly I have had problems with timely shipping with Ashcraft Baker. I

discovered when I availed myself of thir incredable price for 3 or more 
shield or sword baskets that they do not stock them. I had ordered 6 for 
myself and Canton members expecting something they were offering such a good

deal on to be an in stock item, and therefore having a quick turn 
around...instead I had to wait close to 2 months for them. I ordered some 
helms from them some years ago, and also had a unusually long wait for 
someting that should be on the shelf, stick in a box, and mail.
