Me I was a professional new photographer at one point, and now I do it
every so often to see what results I get with what little equipment I
have, in new situations.  after I have seen what worked an d what
didn't to date the photos, have ended up on a DVD and stored, never to
be seen again.

I have no place on line where people can see anything I've taken (as
I've not really up loaded anything but a few images of a house, I'm
house sitting for family while talking to my former roomie who wanted
to move and start over).  I feel the other side of the coin as it
were, people expect me to pay for hosting so they can see and use
images I took as, from my point of view, an experiment.
