Well said!  And it's not just that we're a society of friends.  Take that to the scope of the society which says we are a society of courtesy.  And it's not just about courtesy to those of higher rank than us.  It's also about courtesy to those of lower rank than us.

If we are in a society of courtesy then we go the extra mile to be courteous.  We don't do what we can because we can get away with it.

We need to learn to be more genteel to each other overall.  The picture conversation is just an example of that issue.
