BTW, in book publishing you have to have, in hand and permanently filed, permission forms from any person appearing in a photo allowing their image to be used. I took some photos that are being published in a Portuguese language textbook including a shot that showed only a colleague's hands and the publisher demanded her signed permission form as well as a release form from me!  

Seeing as SCA events are private events, and not the same as walking down a public street, I'd urge caution in finding out how privacy laws affect photography...
