i agree with belphoebe that smugmug is the best one out there. i think that
their layout when viewing someones albums is the best. as a viewer you can
specify how many images you view at a time and when you view an individual
image you can also choose to see it in various sizes. check out ursus'
smugmug albums as an excellent example. the "disable" right click feature
will keep most folks from copying images but its pretty easy to get around
if someone wants to (but i dont think you are really worried about that).
you can also set up individual albums which gives a nice clean look to your
"homepage".

I would recommend Smugmug.
If you are concerned about people stealing images, if you get the Power
account (a little pricier than your basic), you also get the "disable the
right click" feature, which prevents people from downloading your images.
Most of my event pictures are not disabled, although I do appreciate people
letting me know and giving me credit when they help themselves to these
images. However, I have other albums where I have disabled the right click
feature (mostly not SCA.)
Smugmug also has a vault, purchased apart, where you can archive large
files. Their algorithm and customization features make your pictures look
terrific. And if you get to the next level, you can also get a professional
account that allows you to put a logo inn your pics.
Last but not least, the Power account allows you to upload high definition
videos. What's not to like?
Good luck,
Belphoebe
