Greetings all and sorry for the confusion, but I just yesterday received
news that felt like a kick in the gut: Because, as it turns out, I do not
have the two years' service remaining that I need to transfer out to Ft
Bliss TX, I will be allowed to finish out the remaining 17 months of my
obligation, but after Apr 9, 2011 I will be a civilian. I will not be
allowed to re-enlist. This is not a subject I wish to elaborate on at
present, so I would consider it a kindness if it was not brought up. Once
again, I apologize for the confusion. My chain of command appears to suffer
from cranial/anal insertion.
