My comment was not meant to be racist but yet state that because the SCA is such an open forum for learning about different cultures it it allows people to also live in that culture that may not be a part of their own past (Steven as example).I do a Irish persona because I chose to built my persona based on my past (my sca name Ceitinn is the actual Gaelic spelling of my mundane name even used by actual family members not so long in the past).This not not by any means mean that one should or is required to follow their own past but yet follow interests whatever culture or time period they may be regardless of physical looks.
