[MR] How much damage would rattan do?

I’ve been a cop for over 19 years, five of which was as a firearms instructor. Going after a burglar with a stick or sword is just dumb. These days, you are more likely then not to get shoot. Also, if you are dealing with someone that is drunk or high on drugs, they will keep fighting even after bones are broken. (Of course, you all can hit’em in places we can’t) IMHO, the best home defense is a dog and a shotgun loaded with “Birdshot.” (Buckshot and Slugs will go through multiple walls. Birdshot shouldn’t go through more then one) Just my 2 cents worth.
