[MR] How much damage would rattan do?

In any case, if the guy broke into my place (in Virginia), this would
be moot. All of my swords, rattan and real, are in the basement.
What's sitting upright in the corner of my bedroom is a Mossberg 500
12ga. Loaded with #1 buck.
