I can't even believe there is a question of prosecuting the guy for what basically amounts to self defence. I mean, this guy had 29 priors, and when you consider that many people are killed in their homes when they confront and startle a burgler, I would say that this guy rightly considered himself to be in mortal peril and acted accordingly. If he went a little nuts, so be it. He was probably terrified out of his mind. Adrenaline tends to do that to you. 

 

I can't even believe they're trying to figure out if the guy should be prosecuted. We live in an INSANE ASYLUM. 

 

Better to be judged by twelve than carried by six,though. If he hadn't done as he had, I have no doubt he'd be in the hospital...if he was lucky, that is. :-(  It makes me sick that decent people are just supposed to lay down like lambs to the slaughter for criminals. 29 priors...you got to be kidding me.
