So if someone breaks into our home, we're required to flee and not fight?
So basically, the law is that we just let them come in and take whatever
they want; there's something wrong with that, imho.
If you break into my house, I should have the right to defend the things
I've worked hard for. To let criminals walk through the house like they're
walking through Wal Mart makes no sense. They weren't invited in; therefore
they committed a criminal act and I should be able to defend myself and my
property.

to encourage diving into local mundane politics, but the Police are
considering charges in following longstanding precedent of harsh
discouragement of 'vigilantism' under any guise. Technically, State law
has been violated since the four students did not make every effort to
escape the premises when the intruder had been noticed.
