[MR] WoW Set up/Tear Down Help Needed

Greetings to all who read this missive from Gisela event steward of War of the Wings IV.

Please forward it to anyone who might be interested in the information it contains.

One month from today WoW IV will be in full swing.? We are looking forward to all the excitement, grandeur and companionship it will bring. Information is updated almost daily at www.warofthewings.com

The largest event in the kingdom requires a lot of work to pull it off and this is a call for any and all who will be able to help.

Sunday Oct 4 will be an important day of site clean up and set up. If you are able to come help you will be welcomed like an old friend ... or a new one. =o)

Tasks include:

1) Transporting the town (plywood buildings) for the Rapier Town Battle from their storage in Elkin to the castle site, setting them up and covering them with tarps. This will require some strong backs, gloves, basic tools and trucks.

2) Cleaning the farm house and making certain it's stocked for the 1,000 people expected.

3) Policing the Grounds of sticks, rocks and other items that would cause trouble for ankles, horses, tents and children.

4) Measuring the streets and lysts in preparation of the rising of our little city.

We will also need help on Sunday Oct 11 to tear it all down. Any and all help will be gratefully accepted. If you can help at either or both of these work days, please contact me off list so we know we'll have enough help ... or if we need to beat the bushes for more.
