The Day in the Park has come again!  Sept.  12th  10:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Dress in garb and come to fight, sing, spin, tell stories or just talk about the SCA.  This is a kid friendly festival so kids in garb are a plus.  Any games you mae use to entertain littles are also welcome.  Set-up will start at 8:00 am and there will be a communal trip to Outback Steakhouse after teardown.  Anyone who has art to display is also welcome.  This is one of our big recruitment events in Lynchburg.  Anyone who can spare an hour or so please swing by.  Every person helps and has some peice of the SCA they can tell these kids and families about.  This is also a great event to bring kids to because other groups at Day in the Park will have rides, food, and music.  Come and Join the fun at Miller Park in Lynchburg.  This is a Rain or Shine event.  Google Mapquest and Yahoo can give better directions than I for those not in Lynchburg.
