[MR] final plea for diabetes battle

Tomorrow, October 24th, at 10:00am at the Nationals Park in Washington DC, the American Diabetes Association will hold its annual fundraising walk!  A small team of three SCAdians will be there, in garb, to walk in honor of fallen SCAdians and those SCAdians who still fight this disease.

Please help us fill out the ranks!  Three people are better than one, but it would be a much more powerful statement about the strength of the SCA community spirit if more than three people came.

We are specifically honoring our beloved Gyrth Oldcastle (http://main.diabetes.org/goto/oldcastle1) and Vitez Sandor (http://main.diabetes.org/goto/alanwormser1) who died five and four years ago respectively from complications with diabetes.

It costs nothing to join us in person except a couple hours out of your life.  It also costs nothing but a couple minutes effort to forward this email to appropriate networks.  If you have room in your philanthropy budget this year, then please do consider a donation - even a tiny symbolic one.  Every person and every dollar matters.
