[MR] Baskets, chests

Friends,

For some time I've been looking for a round-topped chest to carry our
feast gear and other junk in to events. I have a small one of these
chests, picked up to use as a pirate's chest for a treasure hunt, but it
is small. I haven't been able to locate anything like this, except for
some really bad looking stain-it-yourself toy boxes at Michaels. I have
been checking Michaels (which used to sell something like what I want)
World Market, Pier One, Marshalls, Big Lots (where my small chest came
from), and several other places, but no such luck. I've also checked
online at Overstock.com, but the only there are some very expensive
Peruvian leather covered chests. I am open to ideas of you might have.

Yesterday I was looking at some willow hampers with separate tops at
World Market. Can anyone comment on whether something like this would be
appropriate for the late 15th century?

Kind regards,

Mungo Napier, Archer of Mallard Lodge
