A few more notes:

 

1. Helena has offered to do a Venitian jewelry workshop for us. Bring pictures of what you're interested in this Sunday, or you can go through the books and pictures to pick out something you'd like to make. She will then go over a materials list with you, so you can start collecting materials. We will schedule the actual workshop to make them at a later date.

 

2. If you went to the Known World Clothiers Symposium, bring the hand-outs you collected! (Did anyone get to either of Mistress Leeds classes? or the Medieval Hair?) 

 

Laurel, our youngest member, sat in on an awesome class that showed how to do facings. I'll bring copies of the hand-out from that class, and she promised that when she finishes her sample, she'll bring it to a meeting to demo to us!

 

3. Faye (from Bright Hills) has offered to do a dress dummy workshop. It's similar to the duct tape, but uses postal tape, so it's easier to use pins on it. Date and location TBD. (It's messy so we can't use G-Street).

 

4. There will be a 15th Century Headgear class (hennins and truncated hennins) on 25 Oct, in the Virginia area. Maestra Guiliana has posted messages with time and location. Let me know if you'd like me to forward more info.

 

5. Still looking for volunteers for a committee to do service projects for the Kingdom.

 

6. Coming soon! A St Anne's branch in the south!
