one of my books refers to alkaloids also found in tomatoes,potatoes or same veggie family.It also states a reserach where when the alkaloids were taken out of the plant and given to test animals it did cause tumors and cancer.Keeping in mild as well these are animals and as stated before some small bodys don't do well with certain things.BUT states when given in full does (plant as whole) this did not happen.So again wih any herb you should be careful.
