hey fen, 

i wouldnt be so quick to talk about tolerance while, at the same time,
assuming the worst of someones commentary.  perhaps it would have been
better if you had asked the person making the comment (which, in fact, was
not me by the way) if they were meaning to take a cheap shot at you
personally, or if perhaps they were just trying to be funny before deciding
to be offended and lashing out at them.  if they were taking a personal jab
at you then they would have crossed the line of making a debate/discussion
personal (not that there is a debate going on here, at least i dont see it
as one) and perhaps could have been reminded to keep the personal attacks in
check. but you would have to actually check with the person who made the
comment which you accuse me of making, im sorry i dont have any clue what
the actual author of the comment meant by it.

Its bad enough that I can't enjoy a decent play or opera without the
director coming onstage to deliver his ignorant partisan rants to a hostage
audience.

parroting Rep. Alan Grayson.  

I know, I know - I'm expected to buck up and ignore this sort of thing.  But
I've finally reached my limit.
