(Please cross post)
Please remember, if you are not the parent or _legal_ guardian (meaning, you
have court papers to prove it) of any minor child you are bringing with you
to Son of the Hawkwood Howl or ANY other SCA event, you will need to provide
a Minor Waiver and Minor Medical & Travel Consent form, signed by the parent
or legal guardian, at check-in. The check-in staff will keep this form.
If you show up with someone else's kid and without this form, we will not be
able to let you in, so please make sure you have it.
"Where do I find one of those?", you ask? Easy! The SCA has them available
right on their main website (www.sca.org). Here is a link directly to it:
http://sca.org/docs/pdf/FloridaWaiver.pdf (I know, it says Florida.ignore
that; Trimaris developed the 1-page version) For North Carolina, you do not
have to get it notarized, just signed, in both sections.
Look forward to seeing you all here! ;-)
