[MR] Camps & Roads (was:RE: FW: WoW points)

I sincerely apologize for anyone's camp I invaded in my directionless meandering. My propensity for getting lost is near legendary. I once got turned around in my own backyard, and that is the God's honest truth. No sense of direction whatsoever, and the lack of clearly marked roads (especially at first) I found incredibly disorienting. Once I worked out a system of landmarks for myself, I managed to not be too much of a nuisance. That one rope wall with the blue and white, the lone tree in the middle of everything, and that one very large pennant saved me on more than one occasion. 

 

But yeah. I'm so sorry for anyone who's camp I wandered into, and there were a few. I meant no disrespect. Just a sad, lost doofus. 

 

I kind of like the "adopt a highway" idea. At Pennsic, the Swamp camps have what we call "the Swamp Watch" where we put out and maintain tikis in the darker areas of the Swamp for security purposes. Maybe at WoW, something similar could happen. If each camp maintained a border marker or something, no huge job would fall on any one person.
