[MR] Interesting castle picture

There is a historic landmark in my hometown of Savannah, GA known as 'The Pink House'. When the house was built in the mid-1700's, it was white-washed. The building has never been white, as its original owners intended. The red from the brick kept finding its way back to the surface, no matter what they did. Today it is still pink, though now it is painted that way purposely with modern paints that resist the brick pigment.

Not implying that's what's going on with the castle, it just made me think of it.
Thanks for the posting!

Friends,

Who can resist a castle like this?: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/scotland/north_east/8302858.stm . I have an earlier photo of Craigievar Castle in a book which shows a definite orange cast.

Kind regards,
