William,
Thank you for the input! I’d have to agree that time management was one of the things we didn’t do. I didn’t even think of it until the first hold was called to check the banners. The evil Black Diamond Horde <smile> knew when to push and when to relax because they were keeping track of the time. (Ether that or they just got real lucky and it just looked that way!) Ether way, the Black Diamond side did a good job controlling the battle, and we should learn from it.
As for the comments that were made, I don’t worry too much about it. I know that most of it is just from them being tired and not being able to strike at the one killing them. I’ve been on the receiving side of both spears and bows and felt the same way, but when you start talking after the fight, all of the anger and hostility is gone.
