of course people can forego all the irritation with digest form and other
1990's tech and just use an email client.  solves all of the problems and
brings the 10%'ers into the line of the rest of the email world.

Actually, you can get the Merry Rose in digest form. People do it all
the time and include the digest in their replies. I've seen it happen
more than once. :)
