[MR] Atlantian forums did ya know it existed?

   I would consider this 'forum' topic a matter of personal choice.  I've
always considered the Merry Rose an 'open book' for almost any SCA
related topic. Thus, when something becomes a long dialogue and I'm not
interested...there's the delete key.  If I'm interested, I follow it. 
It's my connection for news from parts of Atlantia that are further
away than I normally drive, as well.
   I have only a small number of lists I'm on and I like it that way. I
don't consider the bulk of the subjects or conversations to be SPAM but
we do sometimes wander off topic.  No big deal - there's that delete
key again.  Most folks are kind enough to put "OT" in the subject line
when it's not an SCA related topic but of interest, possibly, to us.
   If I had anything that I woud change about the Merry Rose it would be
getting folks to check their grammar, spelling and punctuation.  But
that's just me and even I am not always correct in those 3 areas.
    So - go back to your own personal choice. THe Merry Rose is, I
believe, what I would call an OPEN FORUM and for folks who need or
want more forums...feel free.
