(I've got it:figuratively and literally in hand.)
That would be me, always up for a free round !
... and I'm am trying to make it down to both Toys for Tots (at the
AWESOME Canton of St. George's) and the 31st Manannon Mac Lir
tournament, so the broach will be back where it belongs, in the
glorious Barony of Hidden Mountain!
Enough of that. Let's talk rapier for a minute, um kfay?
I have two, TWO, 2, prizes I'm offering up at the Tournement of
Manannon Mac Lir this year. The first is the previously mentioned
legacy broach (which is very nice, pictures below) this will go, as
history dictates, to the winner of the tourney, to be returned for
future champions to contest.
The second is a memorial buckler in honor of Lord Julian Wolf.
For those of you who remember Lord Julian, I hope to have done him
honor in this prize.
For those of you who do not remember Lord. Julian: He was a staple of
Hidden Mountain rapier between 2000-2004. If ever you wished to see
what it means to play the game TRULY for the love of the game, Lord.
Julian would have been your example. This prize will be granted by a
panel of people who knew Lord Julian, and the qualities he brought to
the rapier field (TBD).
FINALLY: to the duellists of Atlantia, come and get some, if you can :-)
-Melchior zum grauen Wolf, Provost.
